Directions to:

Alvernia College (HS Basketball):

1) To Alvernia College From center city Reading
Take Business Route 222 South (4th Street) across the Bingaman Street Bridge. Move into the left lane. At the second light (Queen City Restaurant is on the corner) turn left onto Route 10 (Morgantown Road). Travel approximately 0.7 mile to Upland Avenue (Lincoln Plumbing and Heating is on the right). Turn right and follow Upland Avenue through three stop signs and over a small bridge. Turn left onto Saint Bernardine Street and proceed one block to stop sign. Turn right onto Greenway Terrace and travel along two blocks. The entrance to the campus is on the left, adjacent to the Alvernia College sign.

2) to Alvernia College From the North
Take Route 422 East (West Shore Bypass) to the Lancaster Avenue exit (traffic exits from the left lane). At traffic light, turn right, then an immediate left lane onto Route 10 South (Queen City Restaurant is on corner). Travel one-half mile to Upland Avenue (at Lincoln Plumbing and Heating). Turn right and follow Upland through three stop signs and over a small railroad bridge. Turn left onto Saint Bernardine Street at the sign for Alvernia College. Go one block and turn right. Go three blocks and turn left at the Alvernia College sign.

3) To Alvernia College From the Wyomissing and West Reading area
Take Museum Road to Kenhorst Blvd. Proceed on Kenhorst Blvd. across Lancaster Avenue to New Holland Road (Route 625). Turn left onto New Holland Road and travel approximately .3 mile to Upland Avenue. Turn right onto Upland Avenue and proceed up the hill three blocks to Jackson Street. Turn right and go to the stop sign. Turn right onto Greenway Terrace. Entrance to the campus is on the left, adjacent to the Alvernia College sign.

4) To Alvernia College From the West and South via Route 724
From Route 724 turn onto Route 625 (New Holland Road) heading northeast toward Reading. Proceed on New Holland Road approximately 1 mile to Upland Avenue. Follow remainder of local directions in #3 above.

5) To Alvernia College From the South via Route 10
Take Route 10 North. Approximately .5 mile past Angelica Lake turn left onto Upland Avenue (Lincoln Plumbing and Heating is on the left). Follow remainder of local directions #1 above.

High School (Girls’ Volleyball, Wrestling):

From North: Rtes. 61 or 222 toward Reading and get on Rte. 12 East (toward Pricetown). Take 11th St. exit, bear right off of exit and proceed to traffic light. Turn left at traffic light, go to next traffic light and turn right onto 13th St. Proceed on 13th St. passing Reading H.S., St. Joseph’s Hospital, and City Park. At base of hill, turn left at the traffic light onto Hill Road – school is on right (gym entrance at upper end of school).

*From West: Rte. 422 East past Berkshire Mall and get on Rte. 12 East (toward Pricetown). Follow same directions as “from North” from that point on.

*From West (via Turnpike): Exit 21 (Lancaster-Reading) to Rte. 222 North. Go through Shillington, over Bingamon St. Bridge and turn left onto 5th St. Go approx. ½ mile and turn right onto Franklin St. Bear left at “Y” upon approaching City Park, cross over Perkiomen Ave. onto Hill Road. Go straight through next traffic light (at Clymer St.) - school is on right (gym entrance at upper end of school).

**From East: Rte. 422 West to Business 422, which becomes Perkiomen Ave. Continue straight and merge off Perkiomen onto Howard Blvd. – follow over Lindberg Viaduct onto Mineral Spring Rd. Turn right at 2nd traffic light onto Clymer St. Turn right at next traffic light onto Hill Road - school is on right (gym entrance at upper end of school).

**From East (via Turnpike): Exit 22 (Morgantown) and get onto I-176 toward Reading. Get onto Rte. 422 West and get off at Rte. 222 exit (left lane exit). At traffic light at foot of exit, turn right onto Rte. 222 and go over Bingamon St. Bridge. Follow same directions as “from West” (via Turnpike) from that point on.

From South: Get onto Rte. 422 West (By-pass around Reading toward Lebanon) and get off at Rte. 222 exit (left lane exit). At traffic light at foot of exit, turn right onto Rte. 222 and go over Bingamon St. Bridge. Follow same directions as “from West” (via Turnpike) from that point on.

St. Lawrence Stadium (Football, Soccer, Track):

From North: Rtes. 61 or 222 toward Reading and get on Rte. 12 West toward Lebanon/ Lancaster. Get on Rte. 422 East (By-pass around Reading toward Pottstown), continue straight at end of By-pass and, at bottom of hill (traffic light), turn left onto Shelbourne Rd. Continue on Shelbourne past Exeter Golf Course and turn left at next traffic light onto St. Lawrence Ave. (Rte. 562). Stadium is approx. ¼ mile on left.

*From West: Rte. 422 East toward Reading and get on Rte. 422 East (By-pass around Reading toward Pottstown). Follow same directions as “from North” from that point on.

*From West (via Turnpike): Exit 22 (Morgantown) and get onto I-176 toward Reading. Get onto Rte. 422 East (By-pass around Reading toward Pottstown). Follow same directions as “from North” from that point on.

*From East: Rte. 422 West toward Reading and turn right onto Shelbourne Rd. (traffic light/ intersection adjacent to Zeswitz Music). Continue on Shelbourne past Exeter Golf Course and turn left at next traffic light onto St. Lawrence Ave. (Rte. 562). Stadium is approx. ¼ mile on left.

*From East (via Turnpike): Exit 22 (Morgantown) and get onto I-176 toward Reading. Get onto Rte. 422 East (By-pass toward Pottstown). Follow same directions as “from North” from that point on.

From Northeast (Allentown): Rte. 222 toward Reading and get on Rte. 662 South (toward Oley). Staying on 662 S., go through Oley to traffic light at Yellow House Hotel/Restaurant and turn right onto Rte. 562 toward Mount Penn. Continue on Rte. 562, through traffic light in Jacksonwald, stadium is approx. ¼ mile on left.

From South: Get onto Rte. 422 East (By-pass around Reading toward Pottstown) and follow same directions as “from North” from that point on.

Egelman’s Park (Baseball, Field Hockey):

From Northeast (Allentown): Rte. 222 toward Reading and get on Rte. 662 South (toward Oley). At traffic light in Oley, turn right onto Friedensberg Rd. (toward Mount Penn). At intersection in Stoney Creek, bear right and continue on Friedensberg Rd. At Childcare Center (on left side) turn right onto Spook Lane, go up hill, pass Stokesay Castle, and go to intersection (stop sign). Turn left onto Hill Road and proceed approx. 1 mile to Egelman’s Park entrance (on left).

From all other directions: Follow same directions as to the high school. Continue past the high school, on Hill Road, for approx. 1+ mile to Egelman’s Park entrance (on right).

E. J. Dives Field (Softball):

This field is located at the intersection of Upland Ave. & Arlington St. (just off Rt. 10 on the way to Angelica Park)

Angelica Park:

From North: Rtes. 61 or 222 toward Reading and get on Rte. 12 West toward Lebanon/ Lancaster. Get on Rte. 422 East (By-pass around Reading toward Pottstown) and take Rte. 222 exit (left lane exit). At traffic light at foot of exit, turn right onto Rte. 222 and make immediate left turn onto Rte. 10 (Queen City Diner). Proceed approx. 1 mile and turn right at construction and playground area (follow signs toward Alvernia College). Cross over small bridge, turn left at next two (2) intersection into park.

*From West: Rte. 422 East toward Reading and get on Rte. 422 East (By-pass around Reading toward Pottstown). Follow same directions as “from North” from that point on.

*From West (via Turnpike): Exit 22 (Morgantown) and get onto I-176 toward Reading. Get onto Rte. 422 West (By-pass around Reading toward Lebanon). Take Rte. 222 exit (left lane exit) and, at traffic light at foot of exit, turn left onto Rte. 222. Make immediate left turn onto Rte. 10 (Queen City Diner). Follow same directions as “from North” from that point on.

*From East: Rte. 422 West to By-pass 422 (toward Lebanon) and get off at Rte. 222 exit (left lane exit). At traffic light at foot of exit, turn left onto Rte. 222 and make immediate left turn onto Rte. 10 (Queen City Diner). Follow same directions as “from North” from that point on.

*From East (via Turnpike): Exit 22 (Morgantown) and get onto I-176 toward Reading. Get onto Rte. 422 West (By-pass around Reading toward Lebanon). Take Rte. 222 exit (left lane exit) and, at traffic light at foot of exit, turn left onto Rte. 222. Make immediate left turn onto Rte. 10 (Queen City Diner). Follow same directions as “from North” from that point on.

From South: Get onto Rte. 422 West (By-pass around Reading toward Lebanon) and get off at Rte. 222 exit (left lane exit). At traffic light at foot of exit, turn left onto Rte. 222 and make immediate left turn onto Rte. 10 (Queen City Diner). Follow same directions as “from North” from that point on.

St. Catherine of Sienna School (Boys’ Volleyball, Junior High Basketball):

From North: Rtes. 61 or 222 toward Reading and get on Rte. 12 West toward Lebanon/ Lancaster. Get on Rte. 422 East (By-pass around Reading toward Pottstown) and take Mount Penn exit. Turn left off ramp and proceed to Business 422 (Perkiomen Ave.). Turn left onto Perkiomen Ave. (toward Mount Penn) and go straight approx. 2 miles. School is on left, cati-cornered from St. Catherine’s chapel.

*From West: Rte. 422 East toward Reading and get on Rte. 422 East (By-pass around Reading toward Pottstown). Follow same directions as “from North” from that point on.

*From West (via Turnpike): Exit 22 (Morgantown) and get onto I-176 toward Reading. Get onto Rte. 422 East (By-pass around Reading toward Pottstown) and take Mount Penn exit. Follow same directions as “from North” from that point on.

*From East: Rte. 422 West to Business 422, which becomes Perkiomen Ave. (toward Mount Penn). Go straight approx. 3 miles. School is on left, cati-cornered from St. Catherine’s chapel.

*From East (via Turnpike): Exit 22 (Morgantown) and get onto I-176 toward Reading. Get onto Rte. 422 East (By-pass toward Pottstown) and take Mount Penn exit. Follow same directions as “from North” from that point on.

From Northeast (Allentown): Rte. 222 toward Reading and get on Rte. 662 South (toward Oley). Staying on 662 S., go through Oley to traffic light at Yellow House Hotel/Restaurant and turn right onto Rte. 562 toward Mount Penn. Proceed on Rte. 562, through traffic light coming into Mount Penn (McDonald’s) and go approx. 1 mile - school is on left, cati-cornered from St. Catherine’s chapel.

From South: Get onto Rte. 422 East (By-pass around Reading toward Pottstown) and follow same directions as “from North” from that point on.
